VariLINK™ Adjustable Bail Extensions

VariLINK™ adjustable bail extensions play a key role in Volant’s Light Footprint™ Tubular Running Solutions. They remove extra equipment from the rig, facilitate a lightweight simple rig up and provide extra confidence when stabbing, contributing to a fast, safe and cost-effective job.

Designed for use with a single joint elevator through a 5/8” shackle, the extensions are rated to 25 ton and are large enough to be compatible with up to 500 ton bail eyes.

  • Available in configurations ranging from 18” to 11’ and up replacing the need for multiple sets of heavy bail extensions.
  • Adjustment increments can bring the casing within 3 – 6” from the bottom end of the casing running tool, significantly reducing stabbing uncertainty.
  • Decreased space between bottom end of casing running tool and casing facilitate a smoother transition from hoist to make-up.
  • Lightweight extensions make the rig-in and handling process simple and efficient.
