President Appointed CEO

Volant Products Inc. Appoints New Chief Executive Officer

Volant Products Inc.’s (Volant) Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Dan Shute, P.Eng. as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective July 1, 2018.

Dan has served as Volant’s President since 2013. In his expanded role, he will assume the responsibilities of his predecessor, Bill Roggensack, P.Eng., who will continue as Chairman.

“One of the key contributors to Volant’s longevity and ability to capitalize on emerging opportunities has been our steady emphasis on developing exceptional technologies and strong leaders,” shares Bill. “Dan’s appointment as CEO is part of Volant’s focus on strategic and ongoing succession planning. It also recognizes that Dan has the confidence of our Board to bring our established and emerging technologies to top drive rigs the world over.”

As one of Volant’s original founders, Dan has a demonstrated track record in driving innovation, building strong relationships, and entering new markets. He joined Volant as a leader, initiating its tubular services business and then leading its sales team into more than 40 countries. In his role as President, Dan has been a catalyst for record growth and an accelerated market recovery from the recent downturn. He has developed a strong management team and led Volant’s US expansion, including the October 2018 opening of a new 20,000 sq. ft operating facility in Katy, Texas.
